
SAN FRANCISCO – Sophomore Madison Thomas posted a triple-double with 13 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds to help lead No. 24 state-ranked City College of San Francisco to a 71-58 rout of visiting Laney College on Wednesday.
Thomas, who had earned double-doubles in her past two games, dished out a season-high in assists to pick up the impressive triple-double. Alessandra Nelson led the Rams with 19 points and added 6 rebounds.
Jayden Borgna, Malea Scobie, and Stephanie Salazar all contributed 8 points. Paris Kaea chipped in with 7 points and 6 rebounds.
The non-conference win evened the Rams' overall record at 8-8. They next open Coast Conference North Division play on Friday (Jan. 10) at home against Las Positas College at 5 p.m.
