Owls Compete on Sophomore Day

The Citrus College Women's Water Polo Team celebrated their Sophomore Day as they hosted Cuesta College on Thursday, October 24th for a conference game that resulted in a close 9-7 loss.
Citrus College moves to 10-12 overall and 3-2 in conference games while Cuesta College improves to 15-10 overall and 1-2 in conference.
The Owls and the Cougars played a highly competitive game through all four quarters as both teams held leads. Cuesta College pulled away late in the fourth quarter by scoring two goals to win the game.
Citrus College was led by Ryan Price, Maryeon Reedy and Marieona Reedy all who scored two goals. Trinity Hulet led the team with four steals and added one goal. Kori Cunningham and Ryan Price each recorded three steals. Goalie Natalie Abril had three saves in the game.
The Owls are currently competing at the Cypress College tournament this weekend, October 25th and 26th with hopes of improving their record.
