
Women's Basketball Bounces Back with WSC Win at Mission
SYLMAR, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College women's basketball program got back on track after picking up a 63-44 road victory at LA Mission College on Wednesday evening. | BOX SCORE
The hosting Eagles (8-9, 0-1 WSC) held a five-point advantage at the end of the first frame and led by two at the intermission. The Bulldogs (7-12, 2-1 WSC) resumed second half action with an explosive 21-9 third quarter and continued to expand their lead down the stretch. Despite an ice cold 0-8 showing from distance, Hancock managed to post a 35.8 percent clip overall from the field. They also outrebounded LAMC, 41-36, and notched 36 points in the paint.
Khaelii Robertson-Mack was the leading scorer for Coach Smith's squad with 17 points off of the bench. She was followed by Maggie Perez (13) and Bree Luna (11). Katy Mathews hauled in a team-high of eight rebounds and chipped in with seven tallies.
The Bulldogs are set to continue conference action on Saturday, January 18th, at Moorpark College.
