Rams Volleyball On a Roll
The Victor Valley College Women's Volleyball team secured their 5th straight win in a dominant fashion against Copper Mountain College in their first Inland Empire Athletic Conference game of the season. The Rams came out on top with a 3-0 victory, showcasing their strength and skill on the court.
For the first time in several years, the Rams Volleyball team finds themselves in the 3C2A state rankings as the "best of the rest." This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the players and coaching staff, and they are determined to continue their winning streak and climb even higher in the rankings.
In the game against Copper Mountain College, the Victor Valley College team put on an impressive performance. Leading the way for the Rams was Alayja Hall with 9 kills and a .583 hitting percentage, followed by Elissa Otwell with 7 kills and a .700 hitting percentage. Mariana Aguirre also contributed with 5 kills and a .667 hitting percentage.
On the defensive end, Shamicah Rensulat stood out with 17 digs and 6 service aces, while Noelia Maldonado added 10 points with 3 kills and 7 service aces. The team showed great teamwork and communication on the court, resulting in a well-deserved victory.
With this win, the Victor Valley College Women's Volleyball team is on the right track to achieving their goals for the season. They have proven themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the conference and are determined to crack the top 25 rankings in the near future. Congratulations to the Rams on their impressive win and continued success on the court.
The Rams look to continue their streak this Friday September 27th against Chaffey College. This game is the High Desert High School game of the year. All high school volleyball players from the high desert are invited to come out and watch our Rams free of charge.
