Dons Erase 12-point Deficit to Beat LA Harbor, 68-66

SANTA ANA, Calif. – SAC Men's Basketball forced 22 turnovers to help erase a 12-point second half deficit in their 68-66 win over LA Harbor College (3-6) on Wednesday night.

Despite having a tough shooting night, the Dons (9-3) found a way to come out on top, extending their winning streak to six games.

As a team, SAC shot 38.1 percent (24-63) and 51.5 percent from the free throw line (17-33).

Mac West scored a team high 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting with four rebounds and a couple steals.

Jaitice Hayes and Tyler Peterson had one of their best performances of the season, as both played big minutes down the stretch. Hayes posted 10 points, four assists and two steals while playing lockdown defense.  Peterson added 13 points and three boards, hitting double digits for the fifth time this year.

It was a gritty win for the Dons who are building a solid resume before the conference play begins. They'll try to add on to that when they hit the road to play El Camino on Friday, December 13th at 7:00 p.m.
