Rustlers Play to Draw to Home Against Lasers

The Golden West College Rustlers and Irvine Valley College Lasers battled to a 0-0 draw in a hard-fought defensive matchup on Tuesday. Both sides showed grit on the field, but neither could break through as solid goalkeeping and strong defensive performances kept the match scoreless.

The Rustlers controlled what they could this afternoon, generating nine shots, with six on target. Olivia Villalba was particularly active for the Rustlers, firing three shots, all of which tested Irvine Valley goalkeeper Sydnee Salamoff.

On the other end, Golden West's Sierra Carter also delivered a standout performance. Carter was sharp in goal, making six crucial saves to deny Irvine Valley's attempts to find a late winner.

Golden West's record moves to 4-6-2 overall and 2-4-1 in conference play.
