
The San Bernardino Valley College women's volleyball team celebrated its sophomores before Friday night's game against Victor Valley College.
And then the sophomores led the way one more time at home.
Manaia Mamea and sister Loleaulelei Mamea combined for 33 kills as the Wolverines swept through the Rams 25-17, 25-19, 25-12.
Manaia led the way with 18 kills in 27 attempts, while Lole contributed 15 in 29 to go with a team-leading 14 digs. Sophomore middle Ariana Romero had four kills, while fellow sophomores Destiney Parker (3) and Annika Ferreras (2) combined for another five aces.
SBVC will close out its regular season at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Chaffey.
