The OC Condors women's soccer team made history last night with a stunning 1-0 victory over the Moorpark College Raiders, marking their first win against Moorpark in over a decade. This milestone victory not only showcases the team's dedication and hard work but also signals the rise of OC women's soccer in the county.

The match, held in the Nest, was characterized by strong defensive play and strategic teamwork. The lone goal was scored by Jakeline Novela-Martinez in the 23rd minute, an unassisted effort that would ultimately secure the Condors' victory. Goalkeeper Hannah Christopherson delivered an impressive performance, recording many saves and keeping a clean sheet throughout the match.

"We've worked hard to build a competitive program, and this victory against Moorpark is just the beginning. It shows that OC women's soccer is on the rise, and the team is buying in to our practice and game plans."

The Condors' defense, led by a cohesive effort from the entire team, stifled Moorpark's attempts to score, while the offense continued to press forward.

As the OC Condors celebrate this landmark victory, they set their sights on their game at SBCC tomorrow at Santa Barbara from 7:30 pm.
