
Women's Basketball: Bulldogs Ace Road Test at LA Harbor
LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College women's basketball program picked up a non-conference victory in a 59-42 decision on the road against LA Harbor College on Friday afternoon. | BOX SCORE
The win moves the Bulldogs to 2-6 on the season while LAHC remains winless with an 0-6 record. Coach Smith's squad was outrebounded on the day but capitalized with a defensive effort that forced 39 Seahawk turnovers, which were converted for 30 points on the opposite end.
Bree Luna led the way with a season-high total of 24 points after an 8-for-19 showing from the field, which included five three-pointers, and three made tries at the charity stripe. The Ernest Righetti High School alum narrowly missed out on the triple-double standard after pulling in 13 rebounds and snagging nine steals. Maggie Perez also finished in double digits with 10 points while adding five assists. Khaelii Robertson-Mack rounded out the list of top performers with 15 rebounds and dished out a team-high total of eight assists.
The Bulldogs are set to return to action on Tuesday, November 26th, at home against Reedley College at 3 PM.
