Irvine Valley's men's volleyball team earned its second Orange Empire Conference sweep of the week on Friday night at home.
After defeating Santiago Canyon in three sets on the road Wednesday, the Lasers swept Fullerton, 25-12, 25-19, 25-18, on Friday.
The win improved the No. 4 in the state Lasers' record to 11-6 overall and 5-2 in conference.
The Lasers sit in third place in the conference standings with one match to play in the regular season. Irvine Valley hosts No. 1 and undefeated Orange Coast next Friday at home at 6 p.m.
On Friday, Irvine Valley received seven kills and 15 assists from freshman opposite and setter Grant Dvorak. Dvorak also hit .467 on the night.
Sophomore opposite Matt Reid also ended with seven kills and freshman middle blocker Drake Goering finished with five kills and hit .625.
Sophomore setter Nick Hinker contributed 11 assists and five digs for the Lasers and freshman libero Domenic Marquez chipped in six digs.
At the net, both sophomore outside hitter Zach McEntire and freshman middle blocker Riley Hurdiss added seven blocks apiece.
