The MiraCosta women's soccer team has been tough to beat in 2024.  With an overall record of 15-3-1, they are on their way to winning a conference championship and earning a quality seed in the 3C2A state tournament.  Their eleventh consecutive win was against the conference rival, Palomar College.  

The lone goal was scored by dynamic sophomore, Lena Bachman.  The goal was assisted by Maki Schwalbe, and was scored in the 59th minute.  The Spartans dominated the 90 minutes, finishing with 12 shots on goal.

The defensive line was stellar again, holding their opponents scoreless in 12 of their last 13 games.

The Spartans approach the end of their conference season with the championship in their sights.  MiraCosta plays a non-conference game against Chaffey College and then has one last conference game against San Diego Mesa College, on Friday, November 15th.
