Rams Softball Team Dominates Doubleheader at Chaffey
The Victor Valley Rams softball team delivered a stunning performance in their doubleheader against Chaffey College on April 4, 2025, securing two crucial wins that knocked Chaffey out of first place. The Rams showcased their offensive prowess and solid pitching to claim victory in both games, demonstrating their determination and skill.
Game 1: Victor Valley 15, Chaffey 7
In the first game, the Rams came out swinging, scoring three runs in the first inning and never looking back. The offensive onslaught was led by standout performances from multiple players:
- M. Cuellar went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and an RBI, including a double.
- H. Merrill contributed with a 3-for-5 performance, scoring two runs and driving in one.
- H. Stanislaw was a force at the plate, going 3-for-5 with three runs scored and two RBIs, including a double.
- C. Bledsoe had a stellar game, going 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored, also hitting a double.
- A. Gonzalez added two hits, two RBIs, and a double to the Rams' tally.
- A. Arauz and M. Ortiz each chipped in with two RBIs, with Ortiz also hitting a double.

- H. Stanislaw drove in two runs with a sacrifice fly and a double, going 1-for-3.
- B. Miller and C. Bledsoe each contributed an RBI, with Miller going 1-for-3 and Bledsoe 1-for-4.
Pitcher A. Zaldivar was outstanding, pitching all eight innings and allowing three runs on eight hits, with two walks and one strikeout. Zaldivar's resilience on the mound kept the Rams in the game, and their defense held strong to secure the win.
