The MSJC men's tennis team has picked up two impressive wins this week as they went on the road to upset Mt. SAC on Monday and then earned a home win over El Camino Tuesday.

The Eagles, who now own a three-match winning streak, traveled to Walnut on Monday, and earned a 5-4 victory avenging a loss earlier this season to the Mounties. The number one and two doubles teams both earned points for MSJC with Michael Masarani and Landon Bristow winning at number one 8-3 while Keith Norman and Jesus Guadarrama won at number two 8-4. The Eagles were also able to pick up three wins in singles to hold on for the team victory. Masaroni, Guadarrama, and Chad Hayes won in singles.

Tuesday the Eagles defeated El Camino for the second time this year as they won 7-2. El Camino was forced to default the number three doubles match and the number six singles contest. The MSJC number one and two doubles teams once again earned points for the team as did Hayes, Guadarrama, and Joey Atallah in singles.

The wins improve the Eagles overall record this season to 5-7, they are 5-2 in conference play. Thursday MSJC will host College of the Desert at 2 pm and next Tuesday travel to first place San Diego City.
