The Antelope Valley College Baseball team has won its first seven contests of the season, including three wins against Barstow, two wins against West Hills Coalinga, a win against San Diego Mesa, and most recently a 13-5 win over Victor Valley.
The Marauders have scored 80 runs, including 84 hits and 5 home runs. Braydan Salinas leads the way offensively with 16 hits and 15 RBI, followed by Cody Turner with 11 RBI off 13 hits, and Gavin Klennert, who has 14 hits and 10 RBI. Turner has a team-leading 2 home runs.
Defensively, Drew Lueders and Gilberto Beltran are off to strong starts on the mound. Lueders leads the team in strikeouts with 12, followed by Beltran's 10 K's.
