At Cypress Ridge Golf Course in Arroyo Grande, Salvador shot an opening-round 68 and a 71 in the second round for a combined 5-under-par 139 to capture top individual honors. Her 139 was the best score by an individual champion in 25 years.

Salvador, originally out of Highland High School in Palmdale, led Antelope Valley to its first-ever Western State Conference championship as well as its first appearance at the State Championships. She finished second at the Southern California Regionals, shooting a two-day 150 to become AVC’s first medalist at the regionals in program history.
