Folsom Lake Emerges as New No. 1 in Latest 3CSIA Women's Soccer Poll

A lot can change in two weeks.

The amount of California women's soccer teams without a loss was not one of them.

Six teams remain unbeaten, which left voters in the bi-weekly California Community College Sports Information Association (3CSIA) women's soccer poll with some difficult choices in the second poll of the 2026 season.

As a result, Folsom Lake, with only two first-place votes, snuck into the top spot after the voting of sports information professionals.

But their hold on the top spot is tenuous at best, as five other teams finished with more than 200 points in the voting – and two of those teams within nine points of the Falcons for the top spot.

City College of San Francisco (one first-place vote) and Santiago Canyon share the No. 2 spot behind the Falcons, with those two teams only four points ahead of the previous leader, Long Beach City, who received the most first-place votes with seven. Another four points behind at No. 5 is Saddleback, the first team with a loss in the poll.

Fresno City came in at No. 6 in the voting, holding a 29-point advantage over No. 7 Sierra. The defending 3C2A champion Wolverines, who are atop the power point standings, received the other four first-place votes in this week's poll.

One of the other two teams without a loss, MiraCosta, came in at No. 8, eight spots ahead of its Pacific Coast Athletic Conference rival (and fellow undefeated) Southwestern, who came in at No. 15. Those two teams meet again Friday, after playing to a scoreless draw in their first meeting of the season.

Mt. San Antonio with 153 points came in at No. 9, two points ahead of Reedley to round out the Top 10.
