Lake Tahoe holds down No. 1 atop the CCCSIA Women's Soccer Poll with Fresno City keeping pace
RIVERSIDE - Lake Tahoe and Fresno City continue to battle for the top spot in the California Community College Sports Information Association (CCCSIA) polls. For the third-consecutive week, it is Lake Tahoe who holds a 10-point edge over No. 2 Fresno. No. 3 Lake Folsom overtakes No. 4 Cypress in a tight race, while No. 5 San Joaquin Delta remains in the top-five.
Lake Tahoe carts one of four undefeated recorded and one of three teams that have reeled in double-digit wins thus far. They began conference play with a 9-0 win over Siskiyous, backed by a 4-0 victory over Redwoods.
No. 2 Fresno City reached double-digit wins with victories over Feather River and Santa Barbara, while No. 3 Folsom Lake joins them with 10 wins as well.
No. 11 Rio Hondo and No. 12 Fullerton each jumped three spots in the poll, while No. 15 Cerritos falls just two spots to round out the top-15. New additions include No. T18 Moorpark, No. T20 Long Beach and No. T20 West Hills Lemoore.
