Fresno City, Santa Barbara City, Folsom Lake and Santiago Canyon square off at American River for CCCAA Women's Soccer Championship

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - For the last five years there has been one team that has won the California Collegiate Athletic Association Women's Soccer Championship and that has been the Cerritos College Falcons. This year, a new team will be crowned champion with Cerritos being knocked out of the playoffs by the No. 1 seed, Santa Barbara City College, 1-0, during last weekend's regionals.
With two teams - Folsom Lake and Santa Barbara - making a repeat trip to the this year's championship tournament on Friday and Sunday at American River College, former two-time state champion Santiago Canyons and Fresno City College. the top-ranked team by United Soccer Coaches JC D3 Poll, this year's tournament is going to be an exciting one.
