Mt. San Antonio comes away with West Hills Tournament title

In the first Southern California tournament of the season, Mt. San Antonio College recorded 151 team points to win the West Hills Tournament on Saturday. The Mounties, who picked up individual championships in three weight classifications, along with five wrestlers who placed third. Second place Cerritos College also won three individual championships and compiled 121 points on the day.
The Mounties earned their titles at 133 pounds with David Saenz, 141-pound Wetzel Hill and Nate Kendricks at 197 pounds. They led all schools with 13 placers, followed by the Falcons with 12. Bakersfield College and Rio Hondo College tied for third place with 90 team points, while host West Hills College was right behind them with 89.5 team points.
