SAN LUIS OBISPO - Small moves define this week’s CCCSIA Women’s Baskeball State Poll. Unranked Merced College upset No. 3 Fresno City College 74-72 vaulting Sierra College (Rocklin, Calif.) into second.
East Los Angeles College (Monterey Park, Calif.) improved to No. 8. The Huskies are preparing to meet No. 4 Mt. San Antonio tonight to determine who will sweep the first half of South Coast Conference North Division play.
Santa Rosa Junior College debuts in the top ten after handing No. 1 San Joaquin Delta College (Stockton, Calif.) their only loss this season.
Moorpark College’s struggles to keep their win streak alive dipped the Raiders into a tie for fifth with Palomar College (San Marcos, Calif.). A point behind sits Irvine Valley College.
