CCCSIA State Poll (Final)

PASADENA, Calif. - The dynasty known as Mt. San Antonio College women's basketball continued its reign with its record eighth CCCAA state championship captured Sunday at Las Positas College. The Mounties were the unanimous choice as the No. 1 ranked team in the final CCCSIA State Top 20 poll.

Siskiyous, previously the eighth-rated team, jumped to No. 2 as the state runner-up in the finest season in Golden Eagles history. Mt. SAC snapped Siskiyous' 29-game win streak in the finals. 

Semifinalist Ventura finished at No. 3 ahead of fellow semifinalist Palomar at No. 4. East Los Angeles, the state's top-ranked team for a few weeks, settled at No. 5 with Sequoias coming in at No. 6. San Francisco remained at No. 7 while Foothill was the surprise team of the postseason as it travelled nine spots to finish No. 8 in the state. Those four teams all made it to the Elite 8 tournament.

Sierra, the North's top team for most of the season, closed at No. 9 while Mt. San Jacinto also grabbed a top 10 placing at No. 10.
