LANCASTER - Antelope Valley Collefe softball's Chelsea Romero has become the first female Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Los Angeles Rams. Romero's official title of Seasonal Strength and Conditioning Coach, comes after spending four years with the Rams as a Training Camp Assistant Strength Coach. Chelsea has also run Marauder Softball's strength & conditioning program since 2014. "We are grateful to have a professional with Chelsea's level of expertise as a part of our program," said Marauder's Head Softball Coach Cindy Vargas. "She has had a tremendous impact on our student-athletes and the success of Marauder Softball."
In addition to the LA Rams and Antelope Valley College, Chelsea's extensive knowledge and expertise include experience with programs at UC Irvine, Pepperdine University, Cal State University Northridge, and Harvard Westlake and Paraclete high schools.
