Former CCCAA Student-Athletes Compete At USATF Nationals
The USA Track & Field Outdoor National Championships were held from June 26-29 in Sacramento, CA where a number of superb performances were put up by current and former California Community College student athletes. Many of these athletes are former CCCAA State winners in their events, some as recent as from 2014. A list of those that competed at the USATF National Championships can be found below.

10th Place Triple Jump: Eric Sloan 16.05m qualifying (San Joaquin Delta)
10th Place 3,000m Steeplechase: Ben Bruce 8:44.31/8:39.44 in qualifying (former San Diego Mesa/Cal Poly SLO)
1500m: Daniel Herrera 3:44.40 qualifying (former Cerritos/now UCLA)
