San Joaquin Delta College kept its No. 1 rating in this week's California Community College Sports Information Association State Top 20 Baseball Rankings. Delta earned 13 of 16 first-place votes as it maintains a tie with No. 6 Ohlone for the state's best record at 32-6. Ohlone happens to be in the midst of a 10-game win streak.
No. 2 Cerritos (29-10) and No. 3 Orange Coast (26-12) are respective conference champions (see below for conference updates) and No. 4 Sierra (28-9) is on a 6-game win streak as it attempts to beat Delta for the Big 8 title. The rest of the top 10 include No. 5 Mt. San Antonio, No. 7 Saddleback, No. 8 Santa Rosa, No. 9 Feather River (on a 9-game win streak) and surprising No. 10 Riverside City, a team that jumped seven spots and is third in the Orange Empire race.
Previously unranked Fresno City rose to No. 16 on this week's poll as the Rams used a 7-game win streak to take the Central Valley lead over Sequoias (was 20th, no longer ranked). No. 18 Folsom Lake had an epic dive in the poll, dropping eight spots with a fifth place standing in the powerful Big 8.
