"O" baby! OCC, Ohlone are 1-2 in poll heading into postseason
CCCSIA Baseball Poll (final regular season)
PASADENA, Calif. - Orange Coast College (31-9) regained the No. 1 ranking in the final regular season California Community College Sports Information Association State Top 20 Baseball poll as previous No. 1 El Camino faltered in the final week of play.
The Pirates earned the No. 1 seed in this week's start of the CCCAA Regional Playoffs. Ohlone, the No. 3 seed in the North, moved into No. 2 in the poll thanks to its impressive 36-3 record and state current-best 13 game winning streak. Santa Rosa (29-7) is No. 3 while San Mateo (33-6), the North's top seed, jumped four places to No. 4 in the SIA ranking. The North region occupies three of the top 4 spots in the poll.
Grossmont (29-7-1) is another team that climbed the charts as it went from No. 10 all the way to No. 5. El Camino (33-7), losers of its last five games after a 25-game win streak, dropped to No. 6. Palomar (31-8) remained No. 7 while Sacramento City (28-11) at No. 8, San Joaquin Delta (31-9) at No. 9 and Riverside City (29-11) at No. 10 complete the top 10.

The rest of the State Top 20 features Glendale at No. 13 and Orange Empire standouts Cypress at No. 14, Saddleback at No. 19 and Santa Ana at No. 20.
The SIA top 20 will have one more ranking at the conclusion of the State Championship tournament.
