MiraCosta Splits With 4-Year Schools

It was another beautiful day at Frazee Beach, home of the Spartans beach volleyball team. MiraCosta was looking to avenge their 2-3 loss to Concordia University earlier in the season at Cal State Bakersfield but fell short by a score of 1-4. The lone win came from reigning PCAC Athletes of the week,Brianna Sizemore and Cady Francis. 

In the second match of the day, the Spartans were able to right the ship and end the day with a 'W' by a score of 4-1. This included wins by Sizemore/Francis, Kirklen/Henderson, Alper/Lilly, and Sims/Sellers. In an exhibition match, the team of Allison Swanson, and Alexandra Hearn excited the crowd with some stellar play and a win. 

Next Friday, the Spartans travel to Huntington Beach to play OCC and Santa Ana.
