Canyons Gets First Road Win in 9-0 Affair vs. Victor Valley
COC won all four of its singles matches and both doubles matches.

VICTOR VALLEY, Calif. — College of the Canyons made the long trip to Victor Valley College and returned home with the first road victory in women's tennis program history, coming in the form of a 9-0 conference win.
Canyons won all four of its singles matches and both doubles matches. Victor Valley forfeited a total of two singles and one doubles match to help COC claim the decisive 9-0 victory — just the second in program history.
Brienna Best and Genises Ordonez both shut out their opponents in singles action, as did the doubles duo of Heaven French and Cherokee Thurston.

Canyons (2-6) will continue its inaugural season by next hosting Glendale College at 2 p.m. Tuesday Feb. 27.
