On a day that was anything but typical, the GCC Baseball team improved to 3-1 with a 10-6 win over Oxnard College on the road Thursday in a game that was called after seven innings.  The trip included a stop at Kobe Bryant's Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand  Oaks to show support for the Lakers legend who died along with his daughter GiGi in a helicopter crash that also killed Orange Coast College Baseball Coach John Altobelli and six others Sunday Jan. 26.

On the baseball side, the Vaqs trailed 6-1 in the fourth inning before outscoring the Condors with Aaron Trelaor hitting a three run double in the fifth inning and Christian Muro doubled home two runs in the ninth inning. Muro had two hits in the day and Sean Harris scored three runs in support  of seven Glendale pitchers.

Glendale concludes a three game road trip this week at Palomar College today at 2pm.
