Falcons earn tie in final seconds at De Anza

On Saturday, the Falcons continued their road trip with an afternoon match at De Anza College in Cupertino.  The Falcons were on fire to open the match, but had the misfortune of hitting the post three times while netting a goal just once – by Abraham Iniguez – and went to halftime with a 1-0 lead.  Confident that more chances would come their way, the Falcons were shocked when the Dons managed two goals early in the second half for a 2-1 lead.  For 25 minutes, the Falcons chased the ball trying for the tying goal, and finally got it in the final seconds of the match when Iniguez crossed to Tanner Boyea, who scored with a high-flying header to make it 2-2.  Immediately after, the ref blew the whistle indicated the end of the match.

The Falcons' record now stands at 4-0-2; they'll put that on the line on Tuesday afternoon against Taft College (2-2) at 4:00 pm at Falcon Stadium.
