(Lancaster, CA) Following a 64-45 setback against Moorpark (12-1) on Friday, Dec. 20, the Mt. SAC Women's Basketball Team bounced back with a resounding 103-33 win over Barstow (0-11) on Saturday to close out the Antelope Valley College Holiday Tournament.

Against Moorpark, Lauryn Manns led the Mounties (9-5) with nine points and five rebounds, while teammate Aujane Mayes also had five boards. Skylar Little also had five rebounds on the day.

In the victory over Barstow, Mina Guevera-Goss led Mt. SAC with 18 points, while Lauryn Manns and Aujane Mayes added 14 each. Taylor Shelby pitches in with 11 points and Remy Hare with 10.

Guevera-Goss led the team with seven boards and Allyah Cartejena grabbed six.

The Mounties will open the Fullerton College Tournament against San Diego Mesa (7-6) on Saturday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m.
