Men's Hoops Wins on Sophomore Night, Open Play-offs Wednesday

The MSJC men's basketball team celebrated Sophomore Night on Friday with a 114-77 win over visiting Barstow in their final game of the regular season.

The Eagles blew the game open midway through the first half and never looked back.  Five Eagles finished the game in double figures led by 32 points from Dasean Stevens, he also had 6 assists and 7 steals.  Cameron Durr added 25 points and 6 steals, while Mateo Blocker finished with 18 points.  Kyle Render came off the bench to add 13 points and a team high 6 rebounds, Dejon Daniels also added 10.

The Eagles finished the regular season with a 22-5 overall record they went 14-2 in the Inland Empire Athletic Conference and finished second.

MSJC will begin the post-season as the #11 seed in the CCCAA Southern California Regional and host Cuesta College in San Jacinto Wednesday night.  Wednesday night's first round game is set to tip-off at 7:30 following the MSJC women's game.
