The MiraCosta College Spartans played hard fought game versus the Irvine Valley College Lasers which resulted in a tie of 0-0. The Spartans had multiple offensive opportunities and shot attempts by forwards Jordan Heatherly and Silje Vigeland. The defensive presence, led by Bri Zepeda and goalkeeper Mia Bochis resulted in the shutout. Overall the Spartans controlled possession of the ball but couldn't finish an attack to seal the win. 

The Spartans are next in action on Tuesday at home at 3PM against Southwestern College.
