The West Valley men's soccer team hit the crossbar three times Saturday in a 1-0 loss at City College of San Francisco in the CCCAA NorCal Regional Playoff opener. The Vikings (10-7-3) and the Rams (8-2-9) were scoreless until Armando Sandria netted the game-winner in the 81st minute. The Vikings hit the bar twice in a three-shot flurry in the ninth minute and then Mario Larios found metal with a spectacular header just before time expired.
