"(Saturday) was a total team win," second-year Mt. SAC Head Coach John Knott replied. "It was great to see us play well in all three facets of the game, pitching hitting and defense.

"We had a number of guys contribute and give us key at bats. It was an exciting win against a quality opponent."

After trailing 1-0 in the third inning, the Mounties scored two in the 3rd, three in the 4th and six in both the 5th and 6th innings to win going away.

The Mounties begin South Coast Conference action next Thursday, March 1st, traveling to L.A. Harbor for a 2:00 pm game.

The game marks the first of 11 consecutive conference games before a two-game nonconference home-and-away series against neighboring Citrus College at the end of March.
