Softball Drops Home Doubleheader to Fresno

Bakersfield, CA – Renegade Softball dropped a doubleheader to the visiting Fresno City College Rams on Tuesday afternoon, 14-7 and 6-5.  

In game one, the Renegades exchanged the lead with the Rams through the first five innings before the Rams pulled away with eight runs over the final three innings. Aviana Campos led BC with six RBI's and Trinity Ybarra nabbed two strikeouts in the circle.

In game two, BC scored first and maintained the lead through four inning until the Rams took the lead for good with a four-run fifth and a two-run sixth. Shelby Buchanan led BC with three hits and four RBI's in the loss and Ybarra picked up another four strikeouts.

With the two losses, the Renegades now drop to 3-9 overall. They will stay at home for another doubleheader this Thursday (5/6) at 1pm/3pm at the Dean & Adah Gay Sports Complex.
