Marauder Men's Volleyball snapped a 4-game losing streak with a 3-2 win over Santa Monica College. Julian Green and Luis Guerra led the way for AVC with 12 kills each, while Gamaliel Escobar had a team-high 12 digs.
Antelope Valley won a close first set 25-22, while Santa Monica took the second set 25-19. The Marauders and Corsairs then split the following two sets, 25-21 and 21-25 to force a deciding fifth set.
AVC took the momentum in the final set with 3 kills from Chance Cox and 8 assists from Connor Wachala. Wachala finished with 46 assists for the match, while Jah'mi Jeter had a team-high 6 blocks.
The Marauders are 5-10 overall (2-7 in conference) and will play Moorpark College at home on 4/6 before closing out the regular season at LA Pierce.
