The Cacti return three starters off last years team. Zack Kroker (Rancho Mirage, CA), Dillon Voyles (Reno, NV), and Will Valsien (Boynton Beach, FL) look to build off of solid 2018-19 campaigns while returner Demarcus King (Austin, TX) looks to provide firepower and a defensive presence for this years group. Hyking Brisbon (Philadelphia, PA) return from a tear off at CMC to add to the depth that the Cacti will have this year. Mikah Blackwell (Norfolk, VA) and Trayvion Jackson (Tallulah, LA) will be called on to play big roles for CMC this year as well.

The Fighting Cacti open up against host Folsom Lake who finished their 2018-19 season with an overall record of 11-17 and finished 6-10 in the competitive Big 8 Conference. That was good for seventh place in the conference. Grant Bellis (Folsom, CA) leads all returners for the Falcons with his 7.9 points per game last year. 

Saturday the Copper Mountain Men will take on Cosumnes River from Sacramento. The Hawks finished 17-13 last year and made it to the second round of the Northern California playoffs. Both games will be great challenges for the start of the new season. Fight On Cacti!!!
