Tennis Teams Keeps Rolling

The men's tennis team hosted Palomar College in a non-conference match and came away with a 7-2 win.  The guys overcame a slow start in doubles and went on to sweep the singles matches.  Palomar jumped out to a 2-1 lead which included a hard-fought doubles win in the number one position. But the Eagles came back in the singles to clinch the win. The guys also ran their collective singles match record to 37-9 on the season. The team is right back in action on Friday in a non-conference match at Orange Coast College.

"I got off to a fast start and was really happy to keep it going the whole match. It feels great to remain undefeated at home."  Ashton Vega

"The guys were a little frustrated after the doubles matches, but give a lot of credit to Palomar, they played really well. It was great to see our guys bounce back in the singles and get a well-earned win", added Coach Cory Page.
