LASERS TOO MUCH FOR HORNETS

LASERS TOO MUCH FOR HORNETS: After a nice win last Friday over Saddleback College, the Lady Hornets lost on the road to Irvine Valley College 70-52.

IVC took charge of the game out of the gate and never let up as they took a 31-23 lead by the end of the first half. 

FC shot 33.9% from the floor while the Lasers shot 43.5%.  Irvine also led underneath the basket out-rebounding the Hornets 47-31.

Fullerton forward Stephanie Drayer led all scorers with 17 points with 6 rebounds and Amber Washington dropped in 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocked shots.  Nanette Beightol and Laura Curiel each scored 7 points.

Up Next: The Hornets (6-13, 2-3) will host Orange Coast College this Friday, January 25th.  Game time is at 5:30 pm.
