Compton, Calif. – Freshman Jaylin Bass put up 32 points in the season home opener against Palo Verde (6 – 1) leading Compton (2 - 2) to a victory of 96 – 89 Wednesday evening.
Bass also put up six steals, three assists, and nine rebounds. Freshman DeAnte Wilkins also contributed to the Tartar's success by putting up thirteen points and eight rebounds.
The Men's basketball team will play at home again during the Tartar Classic December 16, 17, and 18.
