Fairfield, Calif. - The Solano women's basketball team battled back from being down by 15 at the half, but ultimately dropped a midweek conference contest to Yuba, 71-63, on Wednesday evening.

Freshman Ashmeen Sran led the Solano offense with 15 points, adding three assists and a pair of steals, while freshman Lexi Derf and Zaire Brown each scored 12. Derf counted five boards and a pair of assists, while Brown collected five rebounds. 

Solano (12-9, 7-2) returns to action on Friday, Jan. 31 when it heads to Los Medanos for a 7:30 p.m. tip.
