REDDING, Calif. – Shasta College lost a road doubleheader to San Mateo 16-0 and 14-1, both lasting five innings. 

#3 San Mateo 16, Shasta 0 – 5 innings 
The Knights were held to four hits, one each from Autumn Giannini, McKenzie Carnes, Veronica Schlapia and Madeline Nightingale. KyndallHolleman allowed nine earned runs on 10 hits in 1.1 innings to take the loss. Brooke Blades allowed five runs on seven hits in 2.2 innings of relief. 

#3 San Mateo 14, Shasta 1 – 5 innings 
The Knights' lone run came in the second inning when Nightingale scored on a wild pitch. Giannini and Nightingale each had a hit in the game. San Mateo scored a run in each of the first four innings. Blakes allowed four home runs and 14 runs on 16 hits in the complete game loss. 

Shasta drops to 2-16 overall on the season.
