WOMEN'S TENNIS: SOCAL REGIONALS
The FC women's tennis team made the Southern California Regionals as the No. 4 seed and took on No. 5 Santa Barbara at home Tuesday. The Hornets fought hard, but ended up falling in a close one 5-4.
Fullerton got off to a good start winning two out of three matches in doubles. Wins were had by Yu Seung Suh / Alexus Lombera (8-2) and Kim La / Janet Shiau (8-3).
In singles, Yu Seung Su (6-0, 6-0) and Kim La (6-2, 6-3) managed wins over their opponents. Janet Shiau (3-6, 6-3, 6-1) and Ashley Castro (3-6, 6-1, 6-3) both played very well but were unable to snatch away victories from their competitors.
Up Next: The Lady Hornets will play in the Orange Empire Conference Championships April 11-13.
