MEN'S SOCCER: RANKING HIGH & WINNING

The No. 3 Hornets provided a nice 2-1 road-win on Friday against a scrappy Norco College squad on Friday.

Fullerton is now in first place all alone in the Orange Empire Conference (5-0) and is now ranked No. 3 in the state and No. 18 in the nation with an overall record of 9-1.

All of the damage was done in the first half as FC scored its first goal in the 17th minute. Cesar Ortega delivered a nice pass to Jacob Aldana, who then booted the ball into the back of the net.

Fullerton's second and deciding goal came in the 39th minute on a shot by Nicacio Olvera with the assist by way of Steve Perez.

FC goalie Kevan Rehmani provided some great defense against the Mustangs with 3 saves and 1 goal against.

Up Next: The Hornets (9-1 overall, 5-0 OEC) play again on Monday, October 1st at home against Imperial Valley College. Game time is at 3:00 pm.
