The No. 3 Hornets provided a nice 2-1 road-win on Friday against a scrappy Norco College squad on Friday.
Fullerton is now in first place all alone in the Orange Empire Conference (5-0) and is now ranked No. 3 in the state and No. 18 in the nation with an overall record of 9-1.
All of the damage was done in the first half as FC scored its first goal in the 17th minute. Cesar Ortega delivered a nice pass to Jacob Aldana, who then booted the ball into the back of the net.
Fullerton's second and deciding goal came in the 39th minute on a shot by Nicacio Olvera with the assist by way of Steve Perez.
FC goalie Kevan Rehmani provided some great defense against the Mustangs with 3 saves and 1 goal against.
