Compton, Calif. – Sophomore Julian Sansores went 1 for 4 on Thursday evening's game batting a double but the Tartars (3-12) fell 16-0 to Irvine Valley (10-6). Sansores was also part of a double play in defensive efforts.

Freshman Julian Rangel started on the mound for the Tartars. He collected two strikeouts and allowed three hits and three runs in his four innings of work.

The Tartars play against on Friday February 28 against San Diego City at home with a 2 p.m. start time.
