Today's non-conference match began even between the host Spartans and Saddleback College but over time the depth of the Guacho roster proved to be the difference in the 3-1 loss.  MiraCosta continued to prove themselves as a team that keeps possession of the ball although they struggled to break the Saddleback defensive line for scoring opportunities.

Jordan Heatherly showed effort on the front line to create opportunities while Alina Ozuna and Jazmin Tua controlled the middle of the field.  Tua brought physicality to the midfield winning numerous balls that gained the Spartans possession.  Ozuna played with the composure you would expect from a sophomore.

MiraCosta is next in action on Friday at 1PM at home against Santa Monica College.
