Warriors Win Conference Opener at Rio Hondo

The El Camino College women's tennis team won its third straight match and opened up South Coast Conference action with a 7-1 road victory at Rio Hondo.

The Warriors split two doubles matches that were played while scoring a default win in the No. 3 match. They followed that with five singles victories in matches that were contested along with another default win in the No. 6 singles match.

The team will wrap up its four-match road swing on Thursday as they head to Cerritos to take on the Falcons. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
