(Torrance, CA) In a five-inning South Coast Conference matchup, visiting Mt. SAC (8-0, 3-0) dealt El Camino College (4-2, 0-2) a 12-3 loss on Thursday, Feb. 13, to remain unbeaten this season.

Starter Annalisa Panuco (3-0) earned the win for the Mounties, pitching four innings, allowing three runs, while striking out four.

Several Mt. SAC players performed well at the plate and on the base paths, including Megan Jones (2-2, 2 RBI, 2 R, 2B), Mikenna Barcelona (2-2, 2 R, SB), Bianca Chavez (2-3, 3 RBI, 3B), Nicole Siess (1-2, 2 RBI, 2 R, 3B), Alexis Lemus (2-4, RBI, 2 R, 2B), and Quinn De Avila (1-1, 2 RBI, R).

The Mounties hit the road to take on Palomar College (7-1) in a non-conference game on Friday, Feb 14, at 12 p.m.
