The FLC women's basketball team was clicking on all cylinders on Tuesday night as they cruised past Shasta, 73-64 in Redding. The Falcons braved the winter weather that brought several inches of snow to the Shasta College campus, but it apparently did nothing to cool off their hot shooting hands. The team shot 48% with guard Shaina Shah leading the way with 22 points on 9-of-14 shooting (4-of-6 three's). Sophomore Shay Boley nearly had a triple double, coming up just one rebound short with 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 13 assists. The Falcons recorded 22 assists as they improved to their early season record to 6-3. They'll have a week off from games before heading to Fresno for next weekend's tournament.
