After a rough start to the 2021 season, the Porterville College women's volleyball appears to be back on track. The Pirates lost their first five matches but after Wednesday's night's 3-0 sweep at Columbia College, PC has now won three straight.

Porterville took its Central Valley Conference opener by scores of (25-17, 25-17, 25-17) to move to 3-5 overall and 1-0 in the CVC.

Freshman Victoria Dabney had a huge night for the Pirates, slamming home a match-high 14 kills. Sophomore Emily Kissick played well, contributing 5 kills, 6 digs, a solo block, and an ace. And sophomore Jordan Castaneda led all with 17 assists.
